    Das dritte Album der “grünen Trainingsanzüge“ aus Amsterdam. “Below The Belt“ von den UPSESSIONS steht ganz in der Tradition der beiden Vorgänger. Early Reggae & Rocksteady im ganz eigenen Vintage Sound. Alle Songs, geschrieben von Frontmann Boss Van Tright, weisen das gewisse Etwas auf, das man seit Ihren ersten Aufnahmen so liebt. Bei einigen Tracks – hier sei insbesondere “Prince Naseem“ erwähnt – bekommt man direkt eine Ahnung, wie originell die dazu passende Live-Performance aussehen wird. Viele Songs kommen mit dem UPSESSIONS-typischen Augenzwinkern um die Ecke, sind top produziert und teils sehr originell arrangiert. Insgesamt ein sehr vielfältiges Album der Niederländer, welches auf genau die Art und Weise Spaß macht, die man von den Herren erwartet. (GROVER RECORDS, Lars Kranenkamp)
